Alia Bhatt and her actor husband Ranbir Kapoor have been blessed with a baby girl. The Raazi actress gave birth to a baby girl at HN Reliance Foundation hospital Mumbai on Sunday. The new mom shared the good news with her fans and well-wishers on social media by releasing a joint statement where the couple called their little bundle of joy ‘magical.’ As per reports, Alia delivered her first child through a C-section delivery.
A popular celebrity paparazzo posted a photo of the couple and mentioned that the actress seems to have opted for a C-section delivery. However, nothing is confirmed in this regard and there is no official announcement on the same. The pap's Instagram post caption read, “Baby girl rumours and It was a C-section delivery. On 6th November, Alia and Ranbir were spotted arriving at Ambani Hospital on Girgaon at 7:30 am for delivery. Both the actors were joined by their family members- Neetu Kapoor, Soni Razdan, and Shaheen Bhatt. Notably, the entire Kapoor family is on cloud nine with the arrival of RK’s little girl. Mahesh Bhatt ahead of Alia’s delivery shared his excitement and said, “Waiting for a new sun to rise. A fresh sparkling dew drop of life.”
Meanwhile, Alia took to her Instagram handle to announce the arrival of her baby girl and posted a beautiful picture of a lion family. Her note read, “And in the best news of our lives :- Our baby is here… and what a magical girl she is We are officially bursting with love – blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!!! love love love Alia and Ranbir.”
